Hey Queens, it's not taboo to return and revisit something again!!

Welcome to this new chapter of Erzumah - or should I say the return to something I consider as my first love - you can't seem to take the designer out of this fashionista - absolutely certain that I have lost that battle. LOL!!!

As you can see, I have decided to revisit my love of designing clothes that represent who I am and what I want to experience in my present state of being. I wanted to approach it from a different space, and as you can see from this first injection, I have entered my fun, carefree phase and am not trying to take myself too seriously LOL... I hope you like the pieces and also choose to adopt your not so serious serious side too!!

So I wanted to talk a little bit about the Adinkra symbol and in particular Sankofa, you may have noticed it has appeared in a few places on my site. Adinkra symbols are Ghanaian/Akan symbols that represent certain concepts and tell a story of their own - which are down to the individual to interpret how it is pertinent to their circumstances. I chose Sankofa because it felt very relevant to me, and no matter what exists in your world that you may be having trouble putting down, it reminds us that it is not taboo to turn around, and have a second look, or return to something.
